22nd N. C. Troops, Company B 2011 Calendar     Below is the latest schedule for the 22nd N.C. Regiment, Company B, also known as Kirk’s Raiders (3rd N.C. Mounted Infantry, U.S.). We are looking forward to some old favorites and some new events in 2011.  All events except as otherwise noted should be as fully attended as we can muster, and all are excellent opportunities to drill, learn and teach the public. Maximum effort means we would like to have absolutely as many of our members as possible attend those events!      2012 insurance will remain with Valley Division through the overall command of the 22nd N.C. companies.  Insurance fee will be announced in early 2012, and registration for insurance coverage will close as of March 1 (spouses and children must be insured separately to be covered).    Calendar current as of  September 23, 2011. The Calendar February 19-20:  Camp of Instruction, Cane Creek Community, Rutherford Co., NC March 24-27: Harmon Field Heritage Days, Tryon, NC  April 16:  McElroy House museum, Burnsville, NC April 29-May 1:  The Gap Divided, Cumberland Gap, TN    May 14-15:  Shook House living history and drill, Clyde, NC June 3-5: Skirmish at Warm Springs, Hot Springs, NC   September 10-11:  Skirmish at Wilson Creek (Caldwell Co, NC)   September 24-26:  Murray's Mill (Catawba, NC) -- Catawba Co.
